If you have an extra wide doorway or an open concept home, the Windsor Arch Petgate is a gate you should look at for containing your dog.
It is made of a heavy-duty metal frame and works for mounting on straight or angled walls. This dog gate is a mounted gate and not a pressure gate. You will need to screw brackets into your wall to install.
The overall size is adjustable to fit openings between 38.3 inches up to 72″. If you have an opening that is even bigger than 72″, you can purchase additional extensions. The extensions are 15″ wide and you can add enough to make your gate up to 162″ wide.
This dog gate is 30″ tall and comes with an extra wide doorway measuring 25.5″ wide. Gate has a hold open feature and is also a childproof double locking system gate. Gate can swing in either direction by simply changing a dropper. Gate operation has convenient one-hand operation.
By using the pivot points between the panels you can customize the gate to fit any area larger than 38.3″ wide. If you do need to adjust the wide with the pivot points, note that your gate will not be a straight across gate. It will arch out, using up the extra gate panel.
When not using your gate, the gate can be swung out of the way against the wall, or you can easily remove the gate from the mounting brackets until you need the use of the gate again.
All mounting parts are included with the gate.

If you have a wide open home but need to contain your dog in a certain area, this gate is a great option for doing just that.
You will easily be able to go in and out of the contained area with the wide doorway that is part of this gate, and having the option to keep the door open or completely moving the gate against a wall when not needed can be a real benefit for families that need some flexibility.

This gate is also certified by the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association for use with children 6 to 24 months of age. If you have children, you will be able to safely use the same gate for them that you use for your dog.
Spacing between bars is 2 1/4″ apart. The door on the gate comes with a childproof double-locking system.
When you unpack the gate, you will notice that it is not square. This is normal and does not mean it is damaged.
It is manufactured at a preset angle, so that when it is installed properly in an opening, it will maintain the correct amount of tension. This tension prevents the gate from being dislodged from the opening under normal use.

My Final Opinion Of The Windsor Extra-Wide Petgate
If you have a wide opening in your home where you need a pet gate, I do feel the Windsor Petgate is a very sturdy, well manufactured pet gate. I feel that if you are in need of this type of gate, the biggest consideration for you is if you are willing to mount this on your wall, since that is the only way that you can use this system.
The options for extra-wide openings are limited in what will work. There are free standing pet gates that are made of wood and look as nice as wooden furniture.
